In the same vein, one of the most talked about and memorable moments was India star batter and current T20I skipper
Suryakumar Yadav's epic catch.
Notably, Yadav took an iconic catch of South Africa's big hitter
David Miller on the boundary ropes in a rather thrilling manner. In fact, it was deemed as catching the World Cup as Team India lifted their second T20 World Cup title after an 11-year drought.
Now in the latest video released by the apex Indian cricket governing body, the Board of Control for Cricket in India
(BCCI), the newly elected skipper expressed his thoughts in the crunch moment while the ball was in the air and ended up taking the most important catch of his international cricket career so far.
Besides, after completing a running drill-relay kind of catch on the ropes, Suryakumar displayed the brimming joy and relief on his face knowing that he has pushed his team to breaking the door of ultimate glory.
"This will stay with me forever because I've done those things in my practice sessions a lot. But I didn't think that it would come at that moment, the World Cup final and that situation. I'm very grateful for that to be doing something special on a special occasion. But yeah! As you said that will remain with me forever.
It won't be a one-month challenge or a one-year challenge. I think it will be for a lifetime," said Suryakumar in the video released by the BCCI.
