Agarkar: On Tuesday, the third match of the 3-match T20 series was played between Sri Lanka and India (SL vs IND). In which India won the Super Over and succeeded in winning the series 3-0. Now a series of 3 ODI matches will be played between the two teams. The ODI series will start from August 2 and the last match will be played on August 7.

All the matches of the ODI series will be played at the Colombo ground. Team India's squad for the ODI series against Sri Lanka has been announced. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar has dropped Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rinku Singh from the ODI series.

Virat and Rohit return

Veteran players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have also returned to the 15-member team of Team India for the 3 ODI series to be played against Sri Lanka.

Both these players will take the field for the first time after the victory in the T20 World Cup 2024.

Due to which now Team India's playing 11 looks even stronger. Kohli and Rohit's performance against Sri Lanka has been excellent. Due to which both these players can score many big scores in this series as well. At the same time, Virat Kohli's record on the Colombo ground has been very good.

Rinku and Yashasvi are out

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rinku Singh got a chance in Team India's squad in the 3-match T20 series played against Sri Lanka and both these players were seen playing in the T20 series.

But Jaiswal and Rinku Singh did not get a chance in the ODI series to be played from August 2. Team India's star player Shreyas Iyer has returned to the team in the ODI series. While wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul has got a chance in this series.

Harshit Rana has also got a place

Three star players of Team India have been rested in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Which includes the names of Ravindra Jadeja, Jaspreet Bumrah and Hardik Pandya. However, young fast bowler Harshit Rana has got a place in this series and he may also get a chance to debut.
