A female athlete was excluded from the Paris Olympics because she went out of the Olympic Village at night with her boyfriend. We are talking about Brazilian female swimmer Ana Carolina Vieira, whose journey in the Paris Olympics has come to an end. Ana Carolina Vieira has been excluded from the Olympics 2024 by the Brazilian Olympic Committee. However, this action would not have been taken against her if she had gone out of the Olympic Village with permission. But, she did not do so. On the contrary, when she returned to the Olympic Village, she got angry at the coach who asked about this.

Now first there was theft and then there was arrogance. In such a situation, the matter reached the Brazilian Olympic Committee. Which without wasting any time decided to exclude Carolina from the Paris Olympics.

Brazilian female swimmer out of Paris Olympics

According to media reports, this incident involving the Brazilian female swimmer happened on 26th July. The very next day, Ana Carolina had to participate in the 4×400 meter freestyle relay event. She took part in the match, where her performance was very disappointing. She finished 12th.

No action was taken against the boyfriend

Like Ana Carolina, her partner Briel Santos is also representing Brazil in the Paris Olympics. He too could not win in the men's team's 4×100 freestyle event. However, no strict action was taken against him like Carolina because he had apologized. Swimming team head Gustavo Otsuka had complained to the Brazilian Olympic Committee about Ana Carolina. Gustavo Otsuka said that Carolina had also questioned the technical decision of the team lead.

After the action against Carolina, Brazil Swimming Team head Gustavo Otsuka issued a separate statement and said that we have come to play on behalf of Brazil's 20 crore taxpayers. We have not come here for a holiday. It is clear that for the team, sports and discipline come first and other things come later.
