Shivam Dube Likely Out 1st ODI Match Riyan Parag Debut: After the T20 series, now a 3-match ODI series is going to start between India and Sri Lanka.

Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer are also returning to the team in the ODI series. Rohit Sharma is once again ready to take charge of Team India. Now in the playing eleven of the first ODI match, there can be a battle between two players for a place in the middle order and in which Shivam Dubey can be dropped.

Earlier, Shivam Dubey was a part of Team India in the T20 World Cup 2024, he was included in the team for the Zimbabwe tour, while Dubey also played in the T20 series played with Sri Lanka, but now Shivam can be seen sitting on the bench in the first ODI match.

Shivam Dubey was seen in great form in IPL 2024, but after that his performance has been very poor after coming to Team India.

Riyan Parag can cut Dubey's card

All-rounder Hardik Pandya will not be a part of Team India in the ODI series. After which the big question before coach Gautam Gambhir and captain Rohit Sharma will be which of these two players should be made a part of the playing eleven in place of Hardik.

However, Riyan Parag can become the first choice of the captain and coach.

Riyan Parag was also a part of Team India on the Zimbabwe tour. On this tour, Parag got a chance to bat in two matches and bowl just one over. So far, Parag has played 6 matches for Team India in which he has scored 57 runs and taken 3 wickets. Parag made his international debut on the Zimbabwe tour.

Apart from this, in the T20 series played against Sri Lanka, Parag got a chance to bat only twice. However, during this time he bowled brilliantly. Parag was one of the most economical bowlers in the entire series.
