Forget Delhi Capitals-CSK, Rishabh Pant will play in this new team and will hit fours and sixes

Team India's star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is constantly in the center of discussion. Some debates are going on about his selection in Team India for T20 and ODI formats, while some discussions are going on about his team in next year's IPL season. Rishabh Pant is the captain of Delhi Capitals in IPL but it is being claimed that he can play for Chennai Super Kings in the next season.

Now whether this will happen or not, it will be known only after a few months but for now Pant has definitely got a new team and he is going to show his talent in a new T20 league.

Rishabh Pant got a new team

After the success of the T20 league running in different states of the country for the last few years on the lines of IPL, finally Delhi's association (DDCA) is also starting its own T20 league. A total of 6 franchises have been bought in the Delhi Premier League which is going to start this month, in which many international and domestic players from Delhi will be seen playing.

The biggest name in this is Rishabh Pant, who will take part in the tournament. Apart from him, veteran fast bowlers Ishant Sharma and Navdeep Saini will also show their talent.

On Friday, 2nd August, DDCA organized a draft instead of an auction for the selection of players. In this, every team got a chance to select players one by one. When it was Rishabh Pant's turn, Old Delhi-6 included the star wicketkeeper in their team and increased the difficulties for the other teams. Not only Pant, but this team also selected Ishant Sharma, which increased its strength.

At the same time, young fast bowler Harshit Rana, who made his mark through IPL, was selected by North Delhi Strikers and all-rounder Ayush Badoni was selected by South Delhi Superstars.

Rishabh Pant made a promise

Now the question is, will Rishabh Pant really take part in this tournament? The answer is yes. This tournament will run from 17 August to 9 September and during this time Team India has no series. DDCA chairman Rohan Jaitley said that Pant is going to take part in the first season of this tournament.

Jaitley said that he talked to Pant about this and the star wicketkeeper promised him to play in the league. Not only Pant, but players like Ishant, Saini, Rana will also play.

Recently, BCCI has also asked the players to participate in domestic cricket. Although this is not a domestic tournament of BCCI, it is a BCCI-recognized league. At the same time, after the end of the T20 series against Sri Lanka, the new coach Gautam Gambhir also told the players that there is a long break before the T20 series with Bangladesh begins, so they should keep working on their fitness and skills.

This league will be important for players like Pant and Rana.
