The first ODI match between India and Sri Lanka was very exciting. In this match held in Colombo, both the teams scored 231-231 runs and the result was a tie. He also mentioned poor batting in the post-match interview. Rohit Sharma looked very angry about the result and he did something due to which Arshdeep Singh could not even look into the eyes of the Indian captain.

What did Rohit do to Arshdeep?

Sri Lanka won the toss and batted in the first ODI and set a target of 231 for India.

The Indian team had scored 230 runs for the loss of 8 wickets and had to score 1 run in 15 balls when Shivam Dubey got out. After this Arshdeep Singh came to the crease but instead of winning the match by taking a single, he tried to hit a six and got out. Rohit Sharma looked very angry about this shot of Arshdeep. While shaking hands after the match, he gave a very killer look. Arshdeep was aware of his mistake and was so scared that he could not even look into his eyes. Now this picture of both of them is going viral.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill had started the innings well. The Indian captain played a brilliant innings of 58 runs in 47 balls. However, as soon as he left, wickets fell continuously and half the team went to the pavilion at 134.

Then KL Rahul, Akshar Patel and Shivam Dubey together took the team to victory. Thanks to their innings, India managed to tie the match, but could not win.

Such an ODI match was seen after 25 years

This was only the third time in the history of ODI cricket when a match was tied after two wickets fell on two consecutive balls at the end of the match. Earlier, this was seen in the Pakistan vs Sri Lanka match in 1999. Whereas, this happened for the first time in the New Zealand vs Sri Lanka match in 1996. The surprising thing is that on all these three occasions, the Sri Lankan team was a part of the match.

This was the 10th time in the history of ODI cricket when Team India played a tied match.
