Now you must be wondering what is this Plan B of ICC? So ICC implemented it in the recently concluded annual meeting in Colombo.

The strings of its Plan B are hidden in the 65 million dollars that it has given to Pakistan Cricket Board in front of the rest of the board members. 65 million dollars means more than 544 crore rupees.

All expenses covered in the amount received by PCB- Report

There are reports that during the AGM meeting held in Colombo, ICC has given Pakistan an amount of 65 million dollars i.e. more than 544 crore rupees. This amount has been given to Pakistan for organizing the Champions Trophy 2025. According to the report of Cricbuzz, the amount received by PCB for the event also covers the expenses that will be incurred due to India not going to Pakistan for the tournament.

Meaning, PCB has received so much money that it can organize India's matches at a different venue outside Pakistan.

Champions Trophy in Pakistan next year

The Champions Trophy is to be held in February-March next year under the hosting of Pakistan. For this, renovation work of stadiums has started in Pakistan. According to the draft schedule, India's matches are to be held in Lahore. India has been placed in Group A of the tournament along with Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand.

According to the draft schedule, India's first match will be against Bangladesh on 20 February. After this, it will face New Zealand on 23 February. While the third and last match will be against arch-rival Pakistan on 1 March.
