The ODI series being played between India and Sri Lanka is proving to be better than expected so far. While the first match ended in a thrilling tie, the second ODI also saw a good competition between the two teams. The reason was Team India's star batsman Virat Kohli. In the second match of the series on Sunday, August 4 in Colombo, Sri Lanka batted first and set a target of 241 runs for India to win. Uproar over third umpire's decision

The controversy started after his second four. On the last ball of spinner Akila Dhananjaya's over, there was an LBW appeal against Kohli, which the umpire gave out. Kohli took a review against it and this is where the ruckus started. The replay showed that the ball was near Virat's bat and during this time there was some movement on the snickometer. That is, it seemed that the ball hit the pad after hitting the bat. In such a situation, the third umpire had no choice but to change this decision.

As soon as this decision was announced, the Sri Lankan players got angry and started arguing with the umpire.
