KL Rahul: In the second ODI match being played between Sri Lanka and India (SL vs IND), the host team won the toss and decided to bat first. Batting first, Sri Lanka managed to score 240 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs. In response to which Team India captain Rohit Sharma gave the team a great start.

But as soon as Rohit got out, Team India's innings faltered. In the second ODI, Team India's wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul could not even open his account. While just like Rahul, another batsman has started playing a slow innings. Due to which that batsman can now be dropped from the third ODI.

But on many occasions, Team India has lost due to KL Rahul's slow innings. Due to which Rahul has to face a lot of criticism for his slow batting.

While like KL Rahul, the team's opening batsman Shubman Gill is also playing in the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Due to which he can now be dropped from the playing 11 of the third ODI.

Gill has been batting slowly

Indian team's vice-captain and opening batsman Shubman Gill has not had a great performance in the ODI series. Because, Gill has been able to score only 16 and 35 runs in the first two ODIs so far.

While during this time he has also batted very slowly. Due to which there is pressure on the other batsmen.

Pant may get a chance in place of Gill

In the third ODI match, wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant may get a chance in place of opener Shubman Gill. While KL Rahul can start the innings with Rohit Sharma.
