He has advocated the inclusion of Suryakumar Yadav in the team in place of Dube because he plays spin better.

Salman said, “On a spinning track, India will have to rethink their strategy. Maybe they can keep Suryakumar Yadav in the team because I don't think Shivam Dubey is better than him in terms of batting and fielding. I don't know how he got into the ODI team.

So, what I have seen of him so far, he has not been very consistent and everyone has seen this. He is someone who is not fit and has not been able to perform consistently well.”
