Sanju Samson: Indian team's wicketkeeper batsman Sanju Samson does not get consistent opportunities in Team India and when he gets a chance, he is not able to perform well. In such a situation, he is always in and out of the team.
However, now there is a player like Sanju who has not got a chance to debut in ODIs but he is performing well in all formats. Just like Sanju, now there is a player who is unlucky and has not got a chance to debut yet.
Actually, Team India's young opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has not got a chance to debut in ODI cricket yet. However, this player has performed brilliantly for India in both Test and T20 formats.
Yashasvi's condition is also similar to that of Sanju Samson because Samson does not get consistent opportunities and Yashasvi is not getting a chance to debut in ODI cricket despite consistently performing well in other formats.
However, Jaiswal has performed well in List A cricket. If we look at Yashasvi Jaiswal's List A career, it has been excellent and he has played a total of 32 matches so far, in which he has scored 1511 runs at an average of about 54. During this, 5 centuries and 7 half-centuries have come from his bat, while his best score has been 203 runs.
Despite this excellent record, Jaiswal is not being selected in India's ODI team. On the other hand, Shubman Gill is seen opening the innings in this format but he is not in good form at the moment.
Although Yashasvi has not yet got a chance to play ODI cricket for Team India, but wherever he has got the chance, he has managed to perform well.
The left-handed batsman has played a total of 9 Test matches for the Indian team so far, in which he has scored 1028 runs at an average of 68.53.
During this, he has scored 3 centuries and 4 half-centuries. Apart from this, in the T-20 format too, he has scored 723 runs in 23 matches at an average of 36 and a strike rate of 164.
