Duleep Trophy 2024-25 Squad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Wednesday (August 14) announced the teams for the first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024-25.

The rubber ball season will begin with this tournament. The tournament includes many star players of Team India including Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer. However, the names of senior players like captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah are missing from these teams.

The Duleep Trophy will begin from September 5 and the matches will be played at Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh and M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The board has clarified that the players who will be selected for the two test match series between India and Bangladesh will be replaced by other players in the Duleep Trophy.

Also, Nitish Kumar Reddy's playing in the Duleep Trophy will depend on his fitness.
