It has been 78 years since India got independence. That special day is being celebrated all over the country. This day has become special for cricket because two big cricket tournaments are going to start from this day. Two domestic cricket tournaments of India are starting from 15 August 2024. One of these is the Buchi Babu Tournament and the other is the Maharaja Trophy. Many Indian cricketers will be seen playing in both these tournaments. Some of them are faces who have played for Team India and there are many who are still fully active in Team India.
Buchi Babu Cricket Tournament will start from 15th August and will continue till 11th September.
Maharaja T20 League will be held from 15th August and will continue for the next 17 days. The final of this domestic T20 league of Karnataka will be played on 1st September. Maharaja Trophy, which will be a fierce contest between 6 teams, will have two matches every day. Rahul Dravid's elder son Samit Dravid will be seen showcasing his talent in Maharaja Trophy. He will be a part of Mysore Warriors team in this league.In the Buchi Babu tournament, those star players of Team India will be seen playing who are active in some format or the other.
These include names like Suryakumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer. Apart from these, Sarfaraz Khan, who has been a part of the Test team, will also be seen playing here. These three players will be part of the Mumbai team in the tournament. At the same time, Ishan Kishan will captain Jharkhand in the tournament.In the Maharaja Trophy, we will get to see the blast of those players who made a big bang while playing for Team India.
