During this, Rohit, while talking about the atmosphere of the team and the victory of the T20 World Cup, said, 'It was my dream to change this team and not worry too much about statistics, results, to ensure that we create an environment where the players can go to the field and play freely without thinking too much. This was what was needed. I got a lot of help from my three pillars, which are actually Jay Shah, Rahul Dravid (and) Ajit Agarkar, chairman of the selection committee.

Rohit further said, 'It was very important for me to do what I did and obviously not forget the players who came at different times and helped the team achieve what we achieved.'
