Indian cricket team's star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant played a brilliant innings of 308 runs in 326 balls against Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy.
Pant hit 42 fours and nine sixes during his triple century. Rishabh Pant scored this triple century during the 2016-17 trophy. With this, Rishabh Pant became the second cricketer to score a triple century in the Ranji Trophy. Before this, only one player has been able to score a triple century in the Ranji Trophy and that player is KS Bharat. Rishabh Pant has become the youngest cricketer to score a triple century in first class.
