Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will lock horns in the seventh match of Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 on Thursday (February 29) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Unbeaten RCB led by Smriti Mandhana head into the match on the back of an 8-wicket win over Guajrat Giants, while Meg Lanning's Delhi Capitals put behind their opening game loss with a 9-wicket win over the same opposition.

Sophie Molineux (3 for 23) and Renuka Singh (2 for 14) helped RCB restrict GG to 107/9 before skipper Mandhana (43 off 27), S Meghana (36* off 28) and Ellyse Perry (23* off 14) made lightwork of the chase with 7.3 overs to spare. Similarly, Marizanne Kapp (3 for 5) and Radha Yadav (4 for 20) helped DC restrict GG to 119/9 before Shafali Varma (64* off 43) and skipper Lanning (51 off 43) powered past the target with 5.3 overs to spare. Now, RCB and DC will clash in Bengaluru, where they will meet for the first time, having met twice previously at the venues in Mumbai during WPL season 1.
