India has got its 16th medal in Paris Paralympics 2024. India's para athlete Deepti Jeevanji has won the bronze medal in the women's 400m T20. This is her first Paralympic medal. She won the gold medal in the World Para Championship held in Kobe, Japan this year itself. Deepti Jeevanji won the medal in her Paralympic debut by finishing third in the women's 400m T20 final with a time of 55.82 seconds.
