Team India and CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Rivaba Jadeja, who is married to Ravindra Jadeja, is a BJP MLA. She shared the picture of a star player joining the political party.
The new membership drive was started by BJP National President JP Nadda, who renewed the membership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the headquarters of the political outfit on September 2.
Rivaba joined the BJP in 2019 and contested the assembly elections from Jamnagar in 2022. She was declared the winner after defeating AAP candidate Karshanbhai Karmur.
The 35-year-old was a part of the Indian National Cricket Team that won the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and the USA.
He was recently withdrawn from the Duleep Trophy 2024, but the BCCI didn’t give any reason behind the move. Jadeja is likely to return to the side for the two-Test series against Bangladesh.
