India had a brilliant start

Paris Olympics bronze medalist Indian team performed brilliantly in the match against Japan. Before the Japanese team could implement its strategy, India put pressure on them by scoring a goal. Sukhjeet scored the first goal for India in the very first minute of the match.

3-0 lead at half time

Team India continued its strong game in the second quarter as well and made many attacks on Japan. In the 17th minute, India got a penalty corner, on which Sanjay scored a brilliant goal and gave India a 3-0 lead. Japan tried hard to score a goal in this quarter. But, they failed to put the ball in the goal post. By half time, India had taken a significant lead of 3-0 over Japan.

India beat Japan 5-1

There was a tough competition between the two teams in the fourth quarter. In the 54th minute, Uttam Singh scored a brilliant field goal. After this, in the last minute of the match, Sukhjeet Singh scored another goal and ensured India's 5-1 victory over Japan.

Abhishek became the hero of the match

Star forward Abhishek was the hero of this spectacular victory of the Indian hockey team over Japan. In the second minute of the match, Abhishek showed excellent play throughout the match and scored a brilliant field goal by dodging many Japanese players.
