Latest News :- In the Women's T20 World Cup cricket series, Pakistan team defeated Sri Lanka by 31 runs. The 9th ICC Women's T20 Cricket World Cup series is going on in the United Arab Emirates. In 'A' category, a match was played between the teams of Sri Lanka and Pakistan yesterday (Thursday). In this match held in Sharjah, Pakistan team won the toss and batted first.

The team scored 116 runs after losing all the wickets in 20 overs. Captain Fatima Sana scored 30 runs. Neeta Dhar scored 23 runs.

All the rest were out after scoring minor runs. It was expected that the current Asian champion Sri Lanka would easily achieve the target of 117 runs. But the bowling of Pakistan team destroyed it. Pakistan's bowlers bowled a total of 61 balls. This became a crisis for the Sri Lankan team.

The failure of Sri Lankan captain Samari Athapaththu and Harshitha led to Sri Lanka's defeat. For Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal took 3 wickets and Fatima, Umaima, Nasra took 2 wickets each.
