India registered a 7-wicket win over Bangladesh in the first T20I in Gwalior. The game was one-sided as the visitors were bowled out for 127 in 19.5 overs, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz scoring an unbeaten 35 runs off 32 balls, laced with three fours.

For India, Mayank Yadav and Nitish Kumar Reddy were given debut caps. Mayank bowled with express pace and took one wicket from his four overs, conceding just 21 runs. He also delivered a maiden over.

On the other hand, Nitish was given two overs by captain Suryakumar Yadav and he conceded 17 runs without taking a wicket.

Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy were the highest wicket-takers with three scalps each.

Chasing 128 runs, Hardik Pandya (39 not out), Sanju Samson (29) and Suryakumar (29) played handy knocks.
