In the ongoing first Test between India and New Zealand, India resumed their batting on 232 for three wickets as came out to bat with Sarfaraz Khan at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
As the cricketing action unfolded, Sarfaraz Khan recorded his maiden Test hundred.
The batter reached the milestone in 110 balls. Rishabh Pant, on the other hand, came up with a brilliant fifty. Pant was just about to complete his century, when a catch by Ajaz Patel on a Tim Southee delivery, forced him to walk back. However, owing to his brilliant 99 runs and Khan's majestic 150, India recorded 438 runs for six wickets at tea.
