New Zealand created history on Sunday (November 3) as they whitewashed India 3-0 in the three-Test series at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Chasing 147, Indian batting collapsed again, being bowled out for 121 on the third day of the third Test. Left-arm spinner Ajaz Patel took six wickets to deliver a 25-run win.

The Kiwis had earlier won the opening two Tests in Bengaluru and Pune. This is the first time that India have been whitewashed in a home series involving three or more Tests.

Barring Rishabh Pant (64), the rest of the Indian batters failed to make big contributions.
