Lucknow: Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Shubman Gill had an excellent performance with his bat in IPL 2023 and scored more than 800 runs. However, after becoming the captain of GT this year, his performance with the bat declined but he came back in the match played against Punjab Kings and scored a half-century and returned to form. Gill is a player who scores a lot of runs but the former India legend feels that his teammate Sai Sudarshan will score more runs than Gill this year.
Sudarshan is also a very talented player and he proved his talent in the final of IPL 2023, when he scored 96 runs in 47 balls. Although his team did not win, this young player impressed everyone with his batting. Seeing this talent of his, former Indian player Ajay Jadeja has given a big statement during a conversation on Jio Cinema.

He said, “The way Rajasthan has invested in Riyan Parag for so many years and now they are getting the fruits of it. Same is the case with Sudarshan, Gujarat is investing in him right now and I think what is visible in Parag at this time can be seen in Sudarshan by the end of this season. However, I would definitely say that Sai will score more runs than Gill this year.”
If we talk about the left-handed batsman, he has played a total of 19 matches in his career so far, in which he has scored 720 runs at an average of 45 and a strike rate of more than 133. During this period, he has also scored 4 half-centuries with his bat. So, he has also made his debut for the Indian team and he batted excellently in South Africa. Sai has played 3 ODI matches so far in which he has scored 127 runs with 2 half-centuries.
