Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya's elder cousin has been arrested for running a scam against him and Krunal Pandya. Hardik's cousin Vaibhav Pandya has been accused of embezzling an amount of Rs 4.3 crore. Vaibhav Pandya has been sentenced to arrest for cheating both Hardik and Krunal Pandya.
For your information, the trio of Hardik Krunal and Vaibhav have a partnership firm related to polymers, in which both Hardik and Krunal hold 40% shares, while Vaibhav holds the remaining 20% shares.
Here, the thing to be proud of is that in 2021, all three Pandya brothers had started a polymer business but then Vaibhav started another similar business. During this time, he had not informed Hardik and Krunal about this, that is why Vaibhav has been arrested for misappropriation of money as well as for violating the terms of the contract.
It is noteworthy that Hardik Pandya is captaining Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024, under his leadership so far MI has won only one out of four matches. Today i.e. on 11th April, Mumbai Indians will face Royal Challengers Bangalore at Wankhede Stadium. On the other hand, Krunal Pandya will take the field for Lucknow Super Giants on Friday to show his strength against Delhi Capitals.
