Virat Kohli recently spoke about his fight with Naveen ul Haq and Gautam Gambhir during the IPL 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Lucknow Super Giants. According to him, people are disappointed and unhappy that he sorted out the differences with two rivals.
Virat and Naveen had a heated argument during LSG’s batting, which continued after the match. The matter escalated when Gambhir joined the argument, and the situation almost went out of control before the players from both sides separated the two Indian legends. The BCCI took decisive action and fined three of them heavily.
The issue between Kohi and Naveen was resolved during the ICC World Cup 2023 match between India and Afghanistan in Delhi. Virat Kohli told the pacer to end the fight between them, and the two hugged each other. In the IPL 2024 match between RCB and LSG in Bengaluru, Kohli and Naveen were seen smiling while talking to each other.
Gambhir and Kohli faced off during the 17th-season contest between Kolkata Knight Riders and Bengaluru.
During a strategic time-steak, Gambhir, who is the mentor of KKR, came to the ground to speak to the players, with Virat standing next to him as he was batting. At that point, he went up to Gautam and shared a few words before hugging his former India teammate. The two were seen laughing and even embraced each other.
“People are unhappy and disappointed with me as I hugged Naveen and Ganbhir and ended all our differences. Now people will not get the stuff to write spicy things about us,” he said.
Kohli is the leading run-scorer in the ongoing season with 316 runs from five matches, including a hundred and two fifties. However, RCB have lost four games while winning just one.
