Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi ordered the international players to participate in the fitness regime under the supervision of the armed forces in the camp. Players had to go through various obstacles and other exercises to strengthen their stamina. In a video shared by cricketer Iftikhar Ahmed on his Instagram, players were seen carrying rocks during a climb at the boot camp in Abbottabad.

In another video, Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan, who is often trolled for his weight, was seen running as part of exercises at a Pakistan Army boot camp.

However, after the video of sniper shooting went viral on social media, the fitness training of Pakistani players was trolled a lot. Pakistan's left-handed batsman Fakhar Zaman was seen trying his hand at sniper under the supervision of the armed forces. Netizens trolled Pakistan fitness training fiercely, and also questioned whether they are preparing for the World Cup or an attack on America.
