The India U19 Women's team has started their ACC U19 Women's Asia Cup campaign with a resounding over Pakistan on Sunday (December 15).
India registered a resounding 9-wicket victory over Pakistan at the Bayuemas Cricket Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday afternoon. The victory was marked by a stellar all-round performance, with India excelling both with the ball and bat.

Opting to bat first, Pakistan struggled against India's disciplined bowling attack and managed to post 67 for seven in 20 overs.
Wicketkeeper-batter Komal Khan stood out as Pakistan's lone warrior, top-scoring with a composed 24 off 32 balls, which included four boundaries. Her efforts provided some stability in an otherwise challenging innings where wickets fell regularly.India's bowling unit was led by the brilliant Sonam Yadav, who wreaked havoc with figures of 4-0-6-4, conceding just six runs while picking up four key wickets. Her accuracy and ability to extract movement from the surface left Pakistan's batters struggling for answers. Joshitha VJ and Mithila Vinod chipped in with a wicket each, keeping the pressure on throughout the innings.
India's Chase - G Kamalini's Brilliance
Chasing a modest target of 68, India cruised to victory in 7.5 overs, losing just one wicket in the process. The star of the innings was undoubtedly G Kamalini, who played a sparkling unbeaten knock of 44 runs off just 29 balls. She struck four boundaries and three sixes with elegance and power.
Kamalini was ably supported by Sanika Chalke (19* off 17 balls), ensured there were no further hiccups and chased the score with ease.
