Team India registered a big victory by a margin of 60 runs in the third and decisive match of the T20 series against West Indies and with this won the 3-match series 2-1. In this match played at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, Team India had already pushed West Indies on the back foot with its explosive batting. Team India, who was captaining in this match, made a record score of 217 runs on the basis of strong half-centuries by Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh and then won the series along with the match by restricting West Indies to 157 runs.

Team India had won the first match of the series, while in the second match, West Indies made a strong comeback and defeated them by 9 wickets.
