Even after three matches, the five-match Border Gavaskar Trophy is currently tied at 1-1. After the Gabba Test draw, India and Australia will now face each other in the fourth Test match in Melbourne, so both will have their eyes set on taking the lead in the series. This series so far has been Bumrah vs Australian batsman and Indian bowler vs Travis Head. Australian batsmen have no solution to Bumrah's bowling. Whereas dismissing Australia's Travis Head has also been a very difficult task for the Indian bowlers. However, before the Melbourne Test, Cheteshwar Pujara has told the Indian bowlers how to dismiss Travis Head.

He told that bowling more short balls on the line against the head will prove beneficial.

Pujara told the way to get the head out

Cricketer turned commentator Pujara has told Indian bowlers how to deal with the head. Speaking on Star Sports, he said, 'The line is very important. Keep the line of the middle-off stumps. Even if you are bowling over the stumps or around the wicket, do not allow the middle stump to play as an off stump. The line should always be middle-off. He (Travis Head) looks very uncomfortable in that line.

Pujara told the weakness of the head

Along with telling the method of getting the head out, Pujara also revealed his weakness.

The Indian cricketer said, 'He is already uncomfortable against the short ball. He plays his shots, but if you have fielders for short balls, use it as variety. You don't need to bowl every ball short. Most balls should hit the stumps. If they follow this plan against him (Head) with the occasional short ball, there will be more chances of getting wickets.

Average of 81, Head scored 409 runs in 3 matches

Travis Head has proved to be very dangerous for Team India in this series.

He has scored 409 runs in five innings of three matches at an excellent average of 81.80 and with the help of two brilliant centuries. Head had played innings of 140 runs in Adelaide and 152 runs in Gabba.
