Ahead of the crucial 4th Test in Melbourne, Australia pacer Sean Abbott showered praise on Jasprit Bumrah, calling him a true master of his craft and highlighting how his unique bowling action, which has never been altered, is a significant advantage.

In the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which is tied at 1-1, Bumrah has taken an outstanding 21 wickets, averaging 10.9, making him the top wicket-taker in the five-match series.

''There's not been one time when he's bowled in this series where he hasn't been putting pressure on the Australian batsmen. I take my hat off to him, it's been unreal.

We're seeing a master at work'', Abbott told reporters at the MCG.

"Maybe it was a good thing he never had it coached out of him. He just remained Jasprit Bumrah for his whole life so far and his whole career. We all get to witness (his bowling) ... he's one of the greatest we've seen. At this level you want to take on the best at their best. I'm pretty glad he didn't change, because we get to experience something different," he further added.

Coming to the series, India's path to the WTC Final has become more challenging, and they must avoid losing their final two matches.

They can only afford a single draw. Following the draw at the Gabba, India stay in third place in the WTC standings, behind Australia and South Africa.
