Delhi: The Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) saw a fierce contest between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday. In this match, Chennai defeated Mumbai by 20 runs. However, former captain Rohit Sharma scored a brilliant century and remained not out till the end. In such a situation, Rohit was on the field till the last ball to help the hosts win, but the team did not get success. In this match, Hitman scored 105* runs in 63 balls. This was his second century in IPL.

After this, he is being trolled on social media for being selfish. Earlier, when Virat Kohli had scored a century in the match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on 6 April, Virat was also criticized on social media by calling him selfish.

At present, some users are comparing Rohit's century with Virat's century and calling him selfish. Both of them could not win the match despite scoring centuries for their respective teams. Virat scored a century against Rajasthan, but it went in vain. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lost that match, because Rajasthan's explosive wicketkeeper batsman Jos Buttler scored a century to lead his team to victory. At the same time, Rohit also scored a century, but the team failed to win the match.

This has been the performance of Mumbai Indians so far in IPL 2024.

It is known that five-time IPL winners Mumbai Indians have had a bad start this season. The team had to face defeat in the first 3 matches, but Mumbai won the next two matches also. But lost its sixth match to Chennai. MI has played 6 matches so far, out of which the team has lost 4 matches. Mumbai team is at eighth place in the points table with 2 wins. Now their next match will be against Punjab Kings (PBKS) on 18th April.
