SRH vs RCB: Sunrisers Hyderabad broke their own record for the highest runs scored by a team in the IPL by scoring 287 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

So far great players like Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble have played for RCB. But the fact is surprising that till date the team that has conceded the most runs in an innings and has been bowled out for the lowest score ever is Bengaluru.

Highest run scoring team
Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 287 runs against RCB in IPL 2024. With this, Royal Challengers Bangalore have become the team to score the most runs in a single innings. Earlier this embarrassing record was in the name of Mumbai Indians and even then SRH was the team that washed the bowlers badly.

In IPL 2024, Mumbai Indians bowlers scored 277 runs in the match against Hyderabad. Well, now the biggest contribution to take SRH to a historic score of 287 was Travis Head, who scored a 39-ball century. Head contributed 102 runs off 41 balls. But the RCB bowlers also contributed equally to this great score as there was no bowler in the team who gave away runs at an economy rate of less than 10.

Lowest scoring team
RCB is also the team that was bowled out for the lowest runs in the history of IPL.

In the match against KKR in 2017, the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore was all out for just 49 runs. In that match Kolkata Knight Riders scored 131 runs playing first. Wickets started falling for RCB from the first over as they chased down the target. The team lost 4 wickets in the Powerplay over. It is also a surprising fact that not a single RCB batsman could touch double figures in terms of runs in that match. The highest score for Bengaluru was Kedar Jadhav who scored 9 runs off 7 balls.
