The Mumbai Indians have unveiled their jersey for the upcoming IPL 2025 season in a special video for their fans featuring several stars like Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma.

Mumbai Indians are set to begin their 2025 campaign against Chennai Super Kings (CSk) on March 23 to ignite the greatest rivalry in the history of T20 El Classico.

With the tournament just one month ahead of the start of the 18th season of the league, MI Jersey for IPL 2025 season has been revealed on a video.

“Dear Paltan! we know our last season was one to forget. But now, a new season is upon us. With a chance to make it right. 2025 is our opportunity. To bring back the legacy where it belongs. With the blue and gold on us.”

“We will take the field to play like Mumbai. This is not just our jersey. This is a promise to you. Chala bhetu, Wankhede la! (Come, let’s meet at Wankhede),” said Pandya in a video shared by Mumbai Indians on their social media handles.

Mumbai had a disappointing campaign in the 2024 season as they finished in the bottom of the points table with four wins in 14 matches.

MI were also marred with off-field controversies. Their fans were unhappy with the unceremonious removal of Rohit Sharma from the captaincy and the appointment of hardik Pandya as the skipper.

However, Hardik Pandya’s match winning performance in the T20 World Cup 2024 finals allowed him to be accepted by his fans. Mumbai Indians will have a new look in the upcoming season after rebuilding their squad in the IPL 2025 mega auction.
