The Mumbai Indians (MI)one of the most successful franchises in Indian Premier League (IPL) history, are gearing up for an exciting IPL 2025 season. With a revamped squad and renewed determination following a disappointing 2024 campaign, the five-time champions are ready to make their mark once again. As part of their preparations, MI has announced the opening of membership ticket bookings for their home matches at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This initiative offers fans a chance to immerse themselves in the MI experience like never before.
Mumbai Indians will kick off their IPL 2025 campaign on March 23 against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The team is set to play seven home matches at Wankhede Stadium, starting with a clash against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 31. With key players like Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and new additions such as Trent Boult and Mitchell SantnerMI fans have high hopes for a strong comeback.

The Mumbai Indians have assembled a formidable 23-member squad for IPL 2025, blending experience, youth, and international talent. Retaining their core players—Rohit, Bumrah, Suryakumar, Hardik, and Tilak—MI spent ₹75 crore ahead of the mega auction, signalling their faith in these proven performers. Rohit and Suryakumar remain key batting pillars, while Bumrah leads the bowling attack. Hardik, rejuvenated after redeeming himself in India’s T20 World Cup victory, continues as MI’s captain.
In the auction, MI focused on strengthening their bowling unit and adding depth to their all-rounder options. They made significant acquisitions such as Boult (₹12.5 crore), Deepak chahar (₹9.25 crore), and Afghanistan’s mystery spinner Allah Ghazanfar (₹4.8 crore). Other notable picks include Mitchell Santner (₹2 crore), Will Jacks (₹5.25 crore), and uncapped all-rounder Naman Naman (₹5.5 crore). The squad also features young talents like Robin Minz and Arjun tendulkar.
