Pakistan Cricket Board announced a full ticket refund for two abandoned ICC Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Rawalpindi. Australia vs. South Africa on February 25 and Bangladesh vs. Pakistan on February 27 were abandoned with a ball being bowled. Former players and fans slammed Pakistan for failing to cover the field during the rain.

The groundsmen couldn’t dry the wet areas due to the lack of equipment. Rain also marred the match between Australia and Afghanistan in Lahore.

Afghanistan batted for 50 overs, but the Aussies got just 12.5 overs before the rain and the wet outfield ended any hope of seeing full action.

Afghanistan posted 273, while Australia were 109/1 when the downpour stopped the play.

Meanwhile, India and New Zealand have reached the semifinals from Group A, while South Africa and Australia are the two semi-finalists from Group B.

Pakistan were eliminated from the group stage after losing to New Zealand and India, while their game against Bangladesh was called off.
