But before that bad news has come out for the fans. In fact, the BCCI has decided to take strict action against Indian women's cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur. He had to face punishment due to misbehavior with the umpire during the match.

On Wednesday i.e. March 7, the 22nd match of the Women's Premier League 2025 was played between UP Warriors and Mumbai Indians. During the 19th over of UP's innings, umpire Ajitesh Argal allowed Harmanpreet Kaur's team to be kept out of only three fielder circles in the last over due to slow overground, which the captain protested and argued with the umpire.

Emelia Kerr also joined this dispute. At the same time, now Harmanpreet Kaur has been found guilty of Level one under Section 2.8.

Paid fined

The Women's Premier League (WPL) issued a statement stating that Harmanpreet Kaur has accepted the crime of level one under Section 2.8. Due to this, they have match fees 10 percent of the fine is suffered. They said,

"Harmanpreet Kaur has confessed to the offense of Level one under Section 2.8, which is in the context of expressing dissatisfaction over the decision of the umpire during the match.

The decision of match referee in the crime of Level one is final and acceptable. ''

Talking about the match, batting first, UP Warriors scored 150 runs at the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. In response, Mumbai Indians lost 4 wickets and hit 153 runs on scorbord and captured the match by six wickets.
