Delhi: In the Eliminator match of the Asian Legends League (All), Sri Lankan Lions defeated Afghanistan Pathan by 26 runs to make it to the qualifier 2. In this match, Sri Lankan Lions star all -rounder Thisara Perera played an explosive innings of 108* runs in just 36 balls, due to which the team scored a huge score of 230 runs. In response, the Afghanistan Pathan team also fought brilliantly, but could only score 204 runs and lost the match.

Batting first, Sri Lankan Lions lost the third wicket for 75 runs in 9.4 overs.

Subsequently, Thisara Perera and Mevan Fernando made an unbreakable partnership of 155* runs to bring the team to a big score. Perera scored 108 runs in 36 balls, while Fernando scored an unbeaten innings of 81* runs in 56 balls, including 7 fours and 3 sixes.
