Cricket fever is set to grip India again as IPL Fan Parks return for the 2025 season. These parks bring the thrill of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to cities that do not host live matches, offering fans a stadium-like experience with giant screens, music, food, and interactive activities.

Not everyone can make it to an IPL stadium, but that does not mean they have to miss out on the excitement. IPL Fan Parks recreate the high-energy atmosphere of a live match, allowing fans to cheer for their favourite teams with thousands of others. With massive screens broadcasting the matches, it feels just like being in a stadium-minus the long travel.

50 cities, 23 states, one big cricket celebration
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has expanded the reach of IPL Fan Parks this year. The 2025 edition will be held in 50 cities across 23 states and one union territory. From the northeast to the south, from Punjab to Goa, the parks will bring the magic of the IPL to fans across India. The event runs from March 22 to May 25, covering ten weekends of cricket excitement.

What's inside an IPL fan park?
These parks are not just about watching matches.

They offer a complete entertainment package, including food stalls, live music, and activities for all age groups. Fans can test their batting skills in a virtual game, try bowling through nets, get their faces painted in team colours, or capture moments at a 360° photo booth.

Bringing fans closer
This year, IPL Fan Parks will debut in several cities, including Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh), Dimapur (Nagaland), Karaikal (Puducherry), Manbhum and Purulia (West Bengal), Rohtak (Haryana), and Tinsukia (Assam). The first events will be held in Rohtak, Bikaner (Rajasthan), Gangtok (Sikkim), Kochi (Kerala), and Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu).

Every weekend, multiple cities will host these parks, ensuring more fans get a chance to be part of the action.

Since its launch in 2015, the IPL Fan Park initiative has made cricket more accessible to fans who cannot attend live matches. By bringing the excitement of the game to local communities, the BCCI is ensuring that cricket remains a shared experience, uniting fans across the country.
