However, former Indian player Ambati Rayudu feels that Mohsin is ahead of them all and he should be a part of the Indian team. Former batsman Navjot Singh Sidhu also believes the same and says that such bowlers should be there in the Indian team in the World Cup, this will help star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah. Ambati Rayudu has given a big statement on this during a conversation on Star Sports.

He said, “Mohsin Khan should be in the Indian team. His bowling action is not like that of Indian bowlers. He bowls like the old bowlers of Pakistan. Mohsin's ball falls close to the stump, which will cause problems to any batsman in the world.”

Sidhu also supported Rayudu's statement and said, “Mayank Yadav and Khalil Ahmed have been excellent for their team this season. However, Mohsin is at number one. India needs bowlers like him to win the match and selectors should pay attention to young bowlers like him.”

The 25-year-old bowler has played 4 matches for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) so far this season, in which he has taken 6 wickets at an economy of 8.57. So far in the IPL, he has taken 23 wickets while playing a total of 18 matches. His best performance during this period has been taking 4 wickets for 16 runs.
