Lucknow: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja took an excellent catch of captain KL Rahul against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and sent him to the pavilion. However, questions are now being raised on this catch and former Indian batsman Mohammad Kaif is also included in this episode. Let us tell you that Rahul batted well in this match and gave his team the fourth win of the season. In this match, Lucknow captain played an excellent inning of 82 runs in 53 balls. However, his innings was ended by Jadeja's amazing catch.
Actually, the 18th over of Lucknow's innings was going on and CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad handed the ball to fast bowler Mathisha Pathirana. On the first ball of this over, Rahul played a cut shot on the off side and Jadeja took a dive and caught it with one hand. After this, the third umpire started reviewing it but no correct angle was found, due to which KL had to leave the field. However, questions were being raised on this catch because the way Ravindra took this catch, it seemed that the ball must have hit the ground somewhere but Jadeja also did not believe so.

Former captain MS Dhoni was also seen arguing with the 35-year-old on the field. Dhoni was continuously asking Jadeja that maybe this was not a catch and the ball might have hit the ground, but the star player remained adamant on his point and kept telling Mahi how he completed this catch. However, there was no clear view of this catch, due to which the third umpire asked Rahul to leave the field.

After the match was over, Mohammad Kaif was also seen discussing it on Star Sports. He said, “The way Jadeja took the catch, I think the ball was probably hitting the ground. If you fall and take a catch while diving like this, then definitely some part of the ball may hit the grass but Jadeja did not accept this. MS Dhoni also kept asking him continuously that how did you do it because the ball would have hit the ground and this is not a correct catch. However, despite this, he did not deviate from his point and kept trying to tell Dhoni that he had taken this catch in the right way. However, the umpire has also given it out, so not much question can be raised on it.”
