Delhi: Star all -rounder Ravindra Jadeja has created history while playing his 250th match in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Jadeja took his 140th wicket for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by taking the wicket of Shashank Singh against Punjab Kings (PBKS) and jointly became the highest wicket -taking bowler with Dwayne Bravo.
Jadeja has been a part of CSK since 2012 and has won many important matches for the team. 2023 was his most successful season, in which he played an important role in winning the fifth IPL title to the team with 20 wickets. However, his performance in the two seasons was not as impressive with the ball. In 2024, he took only 8 wickets at an average of 46.1, while he has been able to get only 7 wickets at an average of 31.4 so far in the current season.
Not only this, Jadeja is the only player in IPL history who has taken more than 3,000 runs as well as 150 wickets. In this way he has become one of the most influential players of IPL.
