Vaibhav Suryavanshi out on Duck: In the 50th match of IPL 2025 played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Mumbai Indians (Mi) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 100 runs and excluded the playoffs. In this match, Rajasthan was to chase 218 runs to win but he was reduced to just 117 runs.

14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who was the hero of Rajasthan's victory in the last match, was expected to be charisma in this match but he was dismissed without opening an account in this match. Vaibhav caught everyone's attention by scoring a century in 35 balls against the Gujarat Titans and it was expected that he would continue his fireworks against Mumbai, but the left -handed batsman was dismissed for two balls in the first over.

The pair of Rohit Sharma and Ryan Ricelton added 58 runs in the powerplay without any loss. Both batsmen scored a brilliant half -century and shared a 109 -run partnership for the first wicket. After this, Suryakumar Yadav and captain Hardik Pandya changed the gear in the last over. Both scored an unbeaten 48-48 in just 23-23 balls and took the team to 217 runs.

The start of Rajasthan, chasing the target, was poor. In the first over, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was dismissed without opening an account. Then in the next few overs, Yashasvi Jaiswal (13), Nitish Rana (9), Ryan Parag (16) and Shimran Hetmyer (0) also continued. Rajasthan's 5 wickets had fallen in the powerplay itself.
