Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan’s instagram accounts blocked in India

The Instagram accounts of Babar Azam, Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan have been blocked in India after the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam. Hania Aamir and Ali Fazal, the two famous actor, are also included in the list. The Instagram account of Olympic gold medalist Javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has been blocked in the sub-continent country. The decision was taken after one of deadliest attacks on the civilians in the valley.

Twenty-six people lost their lives and several others were injured when terrorists opened fire in Pahalgam.

The government has since taken action against the social media accounts that have big fan following in India. Earlier, Shoaib Akhtar and Basit Ali’s YouTube channels were also restricted.

The Instagram accounts of Babar Azam, Rizwan and Afridi are not accessible in India. They are currently playing in the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Super League. Other famous Pakistani celebrities Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar were also punished. Nadeem was invited by Neeraj Chopra to compete in the inaugural NC Classic javelin competition on May 24 in Bengaluru but he refused, citing prior commitments.
