Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star all -rounder Rowman Powell said that his team captain and veteran batsman Ajinkya Rahane has a good possibility of playing against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.

Powell said, “He (Rahane) has shown improvement in the last few days. He has started batting in the nets, which is a good sign. It is very important for us to be available. The medical staff is credited with it. They are working hard to ensure that he should be available for tomorrow's (Sunday) match.”

He further said, “We have to pay attention to a match at a time. We have to understand his (Rajasthan Royals) strategy and give our best.”

Taking inspiration from the strategy to dismiss young batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi by Mumbai Indians, Powell said that KKR will also work on the same plan against this emerging batsman.
