In the 53rd match of IPL 2025 played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) won the toss and scored 206 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. In response, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) team could score 205 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by one run.

In the first innings, Andre Russell batted for KKR, scoring an unbeaten 57 off 25 balls, including 4 fours and 5 sixes. Apart from him, Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 44, Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 35 and captain Ajinkya Rahane scored 30 runs. For Rajasthan, Jofra Archer, Yudhveer Singh Charak, Mahish Tishta and captain Ryan Parag took one wicket each.
