Delhi: In Dharamshala on Sunday, Punjab Kings (PBKS) fast bowler Arshdeep Singh once again proved why he is considered the most trusted bowler of the team. In the match played against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Arshdeep showed amazing swing with a new ball and shook the top order of the opposition team in the powerplay itself.

Chasing a big target of 237 runs, Arshdeep pushed LSG to the backfoot with his bowling. He sent in-form batsmen like Mitchell Marsh, Aidan Markram and Nicholas Puran to the pavilion cheaply and took 3 important wickets for just 16 runs in 3 overs.

After the match, Arshdeep said, “I am just enjoying the present. We are taking every day one by one.” He also told that he enjoyed swinging the ball in the evening of the evening of Dharamshala.
He further said, “After a long time, so much swing was seen in the beginning. The cold increases in the second innings and the temperature falls, which helps in moving the ball.”

In this season, Arshdeep has taken 16 wickets in 11 matches so far and he is third in the list of most wickets in the tournament. Above them are only famous Krishna (19 wickets) and Josh Hazelwood (18 wickets).

Recalling the wicket of Marsh, Arshdeep said, “I was just looking at Nehal (Vadhera) that he was running to take a catch. I was praying, 'Just catch', because we know that Mich is a dangerous player, when he sets up. Nehal took the best catch and gave us a significant edge.”
