Sunrisers Hyderabad was eliminated from the IPL 2025 playoff race after its home game against Delhi Capitals was washed out on Monday.

The shared point with DC takes SRH to seven points for the season. With only three games remaining, the Sunrisers can reach a maximum of 13 points. With four teams already on 14 points or more, SRH is now out of contention for a playoff spot.

SRH had gained the upper hand against DC after restricting the visitor to 133 for seven in the first innings. However, hopes of securing a home win were dashed by heavy rain, which set in during the innings break.

SRH came into IPL 2025 as one of the title favourites, following its run to the final last season. But it has struggled to make an impact this year, managing just three wins so far.
