Delhi: The heart of cricket fans around the world broke up when Virat Kohli, the great batsman of the Indian team, announced his retirement from Test cricket. Kohli, 36, made his Test debut in 2011 and scored 9,230 runs in 123 matches.

Meanwhile, former Indian opener Akash Chopra made a big statement about this decision.

On his YouTube channel, Chopra said, “He played Test cricket intensely. He ran the marathon at the speed of the sprint and kept running continuously, this is absolutely madness. As a batsman you work hard in fielding, but he used to run in the whole field, celebrated every wicket, celebrates every wicket.”

Chopra also said that no other player like Virat Kohli can ever be and described him as a “master of all three formats”.

He further said, “A player like Virat Kohli will never come again. He is a master in all three formats. Now where do the master players meet in all three formats? If you look at Fab Four, now none of them are playing well in all three formats. If you look at the coming generation, one is good in one format, but not in another.”
