South African wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock is set to rejoin the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad in Bengaluru on Thursday, May 15. The defending champions will take on the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in a must-win fixture on Saturday, May 17 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

The remaining matches of the IPL 2025 will be played from May 17 to June 3, at six venues.

The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to resume after a week's pause due to the cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan. While all teams await confirmation on the return of their overseas players, KKR players have started arriving at the camp.

The Australian pacer Spencer Johnson has confirmed his availability for the last leg of the tournament and the three-time champions are awaiting a confirmation from the off-spinner Moeen Ali for his return. Andre Russell and Sunil Narine are among the first batch of overseas players who will arrive in Bengaluru on Wednesday afternoon, reported ESPNcricinfo.

The West Indies duo is believed to have boarded a mid-morning flight to Bengaluru from Dubai, where they were put up since the BCCI decided to suspend the tournament temporarily.

Their travel to the Caribbean had been put on hold with the resumption of the tournament in mind.

KKR's Indian contingent players will arrive in batches from Wednesday evening and will hold two training sessions at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday and Friday evening, ahead of their clash against the home team, RCB.

The Ajinkya Rahane-led team are sixth in the points table with five wins and their chances for the playoffs qualification are not that promising. They have to win their remaining games, against RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), to increase their chances for a playoff spot.
